Widnes Wild Academy Pre-Season Training Camp

Our pre-season Development Camp is back!
Taking place over 3 days 10th-12th August (U10-U14) & 13th-15th August (U16-U18) the camp includes:
7 hours on ice training Off ice skills sessions Strength and conditioning with a Professional Personal Trainer Classroom sessions to support becoming an athlete & further understanding of the game and tactics ActivitiesLead by Head Coach Mikey Gilbert including Widnes Wild Senior Players, Academy Coaches & Professional Personal Trainer

U14s Win Sheffield B Tournament

Our U14s travelled to IceSheffield on Sunday 11th June to compete in the U14s B Tournament against Solent, Nottingham, Sutton, Sheffield and Manchester. The team managed to win all their group stage matches and came top of the league on 15 points. This gained them entry into the final against Solent, which finished as 2-2 in normal time and we managed to score in overtime to win 3-2. It was a fantastic weekend and a great way to finish a fantastic season for the team.
