REGISTRATION AND POLICIES
Are you ready to hit the ice with the Wild Academy?
Once you have been invited to join your age group at training sessions, or if you are an existing player signing on for a new season, there is some admin to deal with. Sorry about that!
All players need to be registered with the English Ice Hockey Association each season, read all the policies detailed below and complete our Registration Form. The policies are for insurance purposes, on-ice safety and the successful running of the club and all parents and players must abide by them. By completing the registration form you are stating that you and your child (or player) have read the below policies and agree with the details within them.
Below is everything you need to get signed on.
EIHA REGISTRATION
The first thing to do is complete and pay for your EIHA registration using the EIHA’s online form (link is below).
This ensures your player is insured and registered with the Governing Body. The full registration fee for Under 10s is £30 for the season, while for all other age groups the fee is £65 (subject to change).
There are different types of registrations:
Full Registration: Vast majority will be this option. This allows your player to play EIHA-sanctioned games.
Insurance Only: This is the option for just training and not playing EIHA-sanctioned games.
Please check with your team manager if you think the insurance only option is more appropriate or if you have any other questions relating to EIHA registration.
EIHA AND WILD ACADEMY POLICIES
At the beginning of each season, the club requires all players (regardless of EIHA registration status) and parents to read all the below policies and complete our registration form agreeing to abide by these policies. We also ask for consent for photography and filming for players to appear on our website and social media.
In adherence to GDPR guidelines, all forms held by the club are destroyed at the end of each season or if a player leaves.
